My name’s Payman. I am from Kurdistan (an old country divided between Iraq , Iran , Turkey , and Syria ). I am from the southern part of Kurdistan which is now the northern part of Iraq . My native language is Kurdish, but I can speak Arabic well and I am trying to learn more English because it is my third language now. I am married and I came to the United States on February 20, 2005 , to join my husband. Because of the political situation in our country, I had to wait for more than 8 years to join him in the United States . In my native country, I was a civil engineer I am a homemaker now, but I would like to work, and I am looking for a job. My hobbies are: learning, reading, traveling, taking pictures, and I like to watch some games like: baseball, basketball, soccer, and American football. My husband likes sports very, very much. He is an athletic person, and from the first time I arrived here, he has tried to teach me about sports. I am like most people because I have many, many dreams, and the important of them are:
- There comes a day, when my country is independent, and Kurdistan society lead the old Kurdish civilization again.
- I live with my husband in peace, health, and love.
- I become a kindly and loving mother.
- I can find a job as a civil engineer.
