My name is Elena and I was born in 1960 in Moscow , in the USSR . Now my native country’s name is Russia. In 1977, I entered the Russian Academy of Economics in Moscow and graduated from it in 1982.In June 1983 I married Sergue and my daughter, Daria, was born in July 1984.

From 1986 to 1995 I worked as an economist and from 1996 to 2003 I worked as a travel agent. It was an interesting job but it required a lot of communication. Many people wanted to know: which are the best routes, the best hotels, and the best shopping. I had to be friendly, patient, and honest.

In November 2003 I arrived in the USA because my husband works here. Now I live in Swampscott. Swampscott is a little city near the Atlantic Ocean.

I have several interests. My favorite interest is traveling. I have been to nineteen countries and want to visit more. I like to spend my travel time actively because I always see the sights, monuments, museums, and older churches. I especially enjoy Russian older churches and monasteries. They are majestic! I take pictures of churches and keep them in my photo-album. Taking pictures of older churches is my favorite hobby.
